Webflow, Figma & Custom Code

1. Project Overview

Hexorra is my own portfolio website, built in Webflow to showcase both my UI/UX design projects and Webflow builds.

I designed the layout to reflect my visual style: clean, structured, and scroll-friendly. I added subtle animations and used a CMS for the project section so I could easily update content. For each project page, I implemented a custom-coded horizontal scroll section to showcase visuals in an engaging way.

This build gave me full creative control and let me apply everything I’ve learned — from clean structure to custom interactions.

2. Challenges and Solutions

Balancing form with function:

I wanted the site to look visually engaging while still being clear and easy to navigate. I focused on typographic hierarchy and consistent spacing to keep it readable.

CMS structure for project case studies:

I used Webflow CMS to create dynamic case study pages, each with space for project visuals, tags, and structured content — without going too complex.

Custom showcase section:

I reused a custom-coded horizontal scroll section for each case study’s visual showcase. This gave me more control over how visuals are revealed and kept each page feeling interactive.

  • Designing for myself is hard — but worth it. It helped me refine my visual style.
  • I improved my ability to blend Webflow + custom code for more advanced layout and interaction effects.
  • I learned how to scale my own CMS for future updates without adding clutter.

4. Credits and Attribution

  • This site is a showcase of my work, entirely designed and crafted by me.
